Ultrasound 超声波检查
An ultrasound is a test that uses sound waves to make pictures of the inside of the body.
During pregnancy, a doctor uses ultrasound to look at the baby growing in the womb.
The ultrasound shows the baby’s shape, movement, and sometimes the baby’s heartbeat.
A doctor can also use ultrasound to see if the pregnancy is healthy.
When a woman has an ultrasound, a special gel is put on her skin to help make the pictures clear.
Ultrasound is safe and does not cause pain during pregnancy.
