Tarsals 跗骨
The tarsals are a group of short bones found in the foot, near the ankle.
There are seven tarsal bones in each foot, and they form the back part of the foot.
The tarsals help connect the lower leg bones to the foot and support the body’s weight.
These bones also help your foot move up, down, and side to side.
Muscles and ligaments around the tarsals make it possible to walk, run, and jump.
You can feel some of your tarsals if you press around your ankle.
