Kneecap 膝盖骨
The kneecap is a small, round bone found at the front of your knee.
It sits over the knee joint and moves when you bend or straighten your leg.
The kneecap protects the knee and makes it easier to walk, jump, and run.
Muscles and strong bands called ligaments keep the kneecap in place.
Each person has two kneecaps, one in each leg.
When you press on the middle of your knee, you can feel your kneecap under the skin.
