To Blink 眨眼
To blink means to quickly close and open your eyes.
Most people blink many times each minute without thinking about it.
Blinking helps keep the eyes clean and stops them from getting too dry.
Tiny drops of liquid from the eyes come out each time you blink.
Sometimes people blink more when bright lights are near or if dust enters the eye.
People also blink often when reading, looking at a phone, or when wind blows on their face. This helps add moisture to the eyes and keeps them from feeling dry.
